It is clear from my research that
the definition of the noun word President has a direct relationship to the
political aspect of the word, all the dictionary websites I found, define this
noun word similarly, as both a President of a "Federal Republic" and
a "Republic" where the President is a "ceremonial
position," in addition to citing this noun word as connoting this noun
word to refer to a corporation or company.
However, I've also included the
websites Wikipedia and Britannica to cite the historical definitions of the
noun word "President" which shows how this noun word has evolved .
I chose this noun word President
due to the claims by the opposition to this administration, that the current
POTUS is acting like a king, but as can be seen, all the definitions cite the
aspect of "being in charge" when defined as the "President of a
Federal Republic," with few examples of what the leader of a Federal
Republic can do, since this blog offers only words plus meanings information,
the scope of the acts of a President of a Federal Republic are not fully cited.
What I've presented proves that
this noun word "President" has a vast scope when connoted as the
"President" of a Federal Republic when specifically citing the US,
and as such, does eliminate the aspect of a point of view to
color this word with other definitions.
